Multiple parents have sued Gymnastics USA for negligence. Gymnastics USA also just settled a 2019 lawsuit filed by the parents of Taha Afoud.
Afoud’s 2019 negligence lawsuit alleges little Taha injured himself on a poorly maintained area of the gym floor. As a result, Taha sustained serious injuries.
Austin and Zander Arthur denied responsibility. They also pathetically blamed Taha for being negligent.
Lawyers for the Austin brothers also used legal tricks and intimidation tactics to drag out litigation. In May 2024, the Arthur brothers ran out tricks. As a result, they decided to settle out of court with a confidential settlement. The court ratified the settlement agreement on July, 29, 2024.
Word on the street is there are more lawsuits coming. Is this why Austin Arthur is trying distancing himself from Gymnastics USA? Afterall, he took his name off the corporate filings for Gymnastics USA in 2022.
So, is he using a clueless Zander as a patsy?
Another Parent Sues Gymnastics USA For Negligence!
Another parent sued Gymnastics USA for negligence in April 2023! This time Samantha Macey-Jones hired powerhouse law firm Morgan & Morgan.
The lawsuit states Gymnastics USA was negligent in keeping her minor son safe in the Ninja Kidz area of the facility in July 2021.
The younger Jones allegedly climbed the “Ninja Wall” in the Ninja Kidz area. The lawsuit also alleges the child was not supervised. He then jumped off the wall without adult supervision. As a result, the younger Jones suffered life threatening permanent injuries. The lawsuit alleges these were the result of negligence by Gymnastics USA staff.
It also appears that evading responsibility is a shared trait between the Arthur brothers. Austin Arthur refuses to take responsibility for his past as a violent drug addict and overall sociopath.
Zander And Austin Don’t take Responsibility For Their Own Negligence

Now, Zander Arthur now refuses to take responsibility for kids getting injured at Gymnastics USA.
In addition, he’s purposely going out of his way to be uncooperative with Macey-Jones’ lawyers from Morgan & Morgan.
Zander’s lawyer blames the child in their answers to a 7/11/2023 Request For Production. They also claim that it was the child who was negligent not them.
Yet, Gymnastics USA says they do not have surveillance video footage of the incident or of the area where child fell. They also claim they do not have any footage from a 4-hour period preceding the incident or following the incident.
This is actually hard to believe for multiple reasons. It also indicates Zander and his attorneys may be pulling a fraud on the court.
The YouTube video clearly shows a giant video monitor in Austin and Zander’s office at Stars And Stripes Management. The Arthur brothers set up Stars and stripes Management to run the day-to-day operations of Gymnastics USA.
The monitor at the Stars and Stripes Management office also clearly shows a live video feed from inside Gymnastics USA. In addition, the YouTube clearly shows Austin Arthur on the phone with Gymnastics USA staff while looking at the live feed from the gym.
