Gymnastics USA Threw In The Towel! Taha Afoud Finally Receives Justice After 4 1/2 Years!

Taha Afoud has finally received justice in his personal injury lawsuit against Gymnastics USA. In July 2024, Gymnastics USA threw in the towel and agreed to settle the 2019 lawsuit. Apparently, Austin Arthur didn’t want it to become a campaign issue.

Afoud’s 2019 negligence lawsuit alleges little Taha injured himself on a poorly maintained area of the gym floor. As a result, Taha sustained serious injuries.

Austin and Zander Arthur denied responsibility by blaming the child. They also claimed the child was the one that was negligent not them. Thy also claimed this in their other negligence lawsuit (see below).

Arthur brothers’ lawyers were able to drag out litigation because of Covid-19 court shutdowns. Ironically, Austin and Zander Arthur were and are extreme anti-vaxxer extremists.

Lawyers for the Austin brothers also used legal tricks and intimidation tactics to drag out litigation. In May 2024, the Arthur brothers ran out tricks. As a result, they decided to settle out of court with a confidential settlement. The court ratified the settlement agreement on July, 29, 2024.
