Lawsuit Alleges Child Cut His Foot On A Broken Glass. Was It A Beer Bottle?
Plaintiffs in the negligence lawsuit are seeking $50,000 to $75,000 in damages. The victim’s mother alleges on August 29, 2024 that her child was attending the Ninja Kidz course at gymnastics USA.
While attending the class, Minor’s right foot stepped on an approximately 4mm piece of glass. Unconfirmed reports say it appeared to be remnants of a beer bottle. As a result, The glass puncturing the child’s skin and wedged itself into the right heel.
The lawsuit alleges the child sustained injuries as a result of the Gymnastics USA’s negligence. Plaintiffs also allege Minor Plaintiff suffered bodily injury in and about his body and extremities. As a result of the injuries, the child suffered pain and suffering and disability. In addition, the child suffered permanent disfigurement and significant scarring.
The lawsuit also alleges the child suffered mental anguish due to the loss of the capacity for the enjoyment of life. The child’s parents also had hospital expenses and nursing care. The lawsuit goes on to say that the child’s losses are permanent and continuing.
