Christian Nationalist Austin Arthur Co-Founded A Shadowy Racist Alt-Right Group He Doesn’t Want You To Know About

It’s pretty much common knowledge that Christian Nationalist Austin Arthur has a long history of being a violent drug addict.

He also didn’t drop out of high school travel with his rock band like he claims. Authorities kicked him out of high school for using and dealing drugs on campus. As a result, he was also sentenced to a juvenile detention center.

Oh, and let’s also not forget about his horrific driving skills and run-ins with the law as recently as 2018 

Around 2019 or 2020, Austin Arthur saw the light. He became a Christian Nationalist overnight and went all in for Team Jesus. In other words, he became a born-again Christian.

Yes, he went all in. We’re not talking Baptist Ministers dunking him in Lake Apopka three times and he became Ned Flanders. Austin Arthur went all the way to other end of the spectrum and started preaching the Gospel to alligators in the Everglades and became a Christian Nationalist.

In April 2021, Austin Arthur started a Christian fascist group called Florida Christian Patriots with GOP activist and fellow Christian Nationalist Nathan Cassidy. Cassidy is a mortgage broker and a candidate for State Committeeman to the Republican Party of Florida.

Cassidy’s website proudly states that he is endorsed by the Florida Republican Assembly. Florida Christian Patriots also openly brags about their affiliation the Florida Republican Assembly.

If you don’t know who the Florida Republican Assembly is, you’re not alone. They are a wacky Christian Nationalist alt-Right fringe group within the Florida GOP. The scuttlebutt with the Florida GOP is that the GOP wants to cut off ties to the group because of their extremism. One member of GOP leadership has referred to them as the Christian equivalent to the Al-Qaeda.

Christian Nationalist Austin Arthur Quits His Florida Christian Patriots. Then Tries To Hide His Involvement

Earlier this year, Austin Arthur with his Proud Boy haircut abruptly left Florida Christian Patriots. The big question is why? Better yet, why would he try to scrub his involvement with the group from the internet.

Well, the answer is pretty simple. Arthur needed to build a coalition to beat Nicole Wilson. Unfortunately, for Austin Arthur his extreme Christian views don’t go over well with Orange County’s more liberal voter base. Once voters find out he’s a Christian extremist, it’s game over. So, he tried to hide it. 

So far, he’s been pretty clever at hiding it. Unfortunately for Austin Arthur, the internet never forgets. The main page for Florida Christian Patriots from this past January describes him as “founder.” Now, he’s been scrubbed from the group’s website. Interestingly enough, his campaign manager Tracy Blair has not.  More to come on that…
