Brother Austin Arthur’s Traveling Salvation Show Is Coming To historic Windemere Town Hall
Austin Arthur and Scott Boyd have come up with inventive way to raise money and weave their radical right Christian Nationalist views into politics.
This time the duo are doing Brother Austin Arthur’s Traveling Salvation Show at the historic Windermere Town Hall on September 26, 2024. They hope to siphon some BIG $$$ from wealthy Windermere residents by passing around a KFC bucket to use as a collection plate.
The two are disguising this fundraising stunt as a “Town Hall” meeting. Austin Arthur pal and former WFTV anchor Jamie Holmes. is “moderating” the Town Hall event. If you recall, WFTV fired Holmes for yet undisclosed reasons in 2021.
Jamie Holmes also produces and edits all of Arthur’s campaign videos. Last month, Holmes pitched the story of an Arthur audio recording to Shannon Butler at WFTV.
Arthur and Boyd hope that a fundraising circus event disguised as a fake “Town Hall” will help his fledgling campaign for Orange County Commission. Unfortunately, Town Hall events this late in the game won’t work for multiple reasons:
- They tend to attract the candidate’s most faithful followers. In this case, people from Arthur’s Christian Nationalist Glad Tidings Assembly of God.
- Political Town Halls are designed to attract undecided voters. However, if there are any undecided voters left in District 1 after the contentious primary, they won’t be enough to push Austin Arthur into the winner’s circle.
- In this case, Austin Arthur’s campaign is bankrolling this Town Hall using someone on the campaign payroll as a moderator. So Austin Arthur already knows what softball questions Holmes is going to ask to help Austin Arthur save his messianic campaign.
False Messiah Austin Arthur Had His One Shot To Win This And He Fell Short
Austin Arthur needed a decisive victory over Nicole Wilson in the August primary. That was the only way he could win. However, Arthur fell short. He could not make it happen. He lost the primary by two votes after having a nearly 20 point lead over incumbent Nicole Wilson a month later.
Now with less than 45 days to go, the Arthur campaign finds itself 20 points down. With no new donations coming in, the campaign is hemorrhaging money and is nearly broke. Inside sources say Scott Boyd and GOP PACs are paying for the circus event in a last ditch effort to keep Austin Arthur from going down in flames.
So, Austin Arthur and his team decide to hold Brother Austin Arthur’s Traveling Salvation Show at the historic Windermere Town Hall to fool the locals and pass the hat to siphon much needed funds to keep his campaign alive.
