Austin Arthur’s campaign released a new mailer that shows Austin Arthur has summoned dark money contributions. The mailer shows the dozen or so elected of officials who allegedly endorsed him. Of course, that the part he wants you see.
However, the people profiled in this endorsement mailer aren’t all that important. What is important is at the bottom of the mailer because it shows who paid for the mailer.

These types of shady PACs are set up every election cycle. Political strategists and professional campaign managers usually set up PACs for variety of reasons.
The main purpose is to funnel money from individuals or corporate interests into campaigns without the public knowing where money came from.
Basically, think of it a political money laundering that undermines transparency in our democracy.

The PAC’s registered agent and Treasurer is Noreen Fenner. Fenner is owner of PAC FM. PAC FM is a firm that manages dozens of dark money PACs for a variety of Florida Republican candidates.
