Austin Arthur Campaign Threw Austin’s Brother Zander Under The Bus As The Gymnastics USA PPP Loan Scandal Grows Legs
The Austin Arthur campaign went into full blown panic mode last week. The campaign Facebook page obviously operated by his wife Kelly claimed Austin doesn’t own Gymnastics USA. She made the claim after she became annoyed that kept asking about Gymnastics USA taking $400,000 in SBA PPP loans in 2020 2021.
RealAustinArthur.com also discovered Gymnastics USA continued to charge members’ credit debt cards during the lockdown. It also appears the brothers set up a GoFundMe account during this time (You can see the video below).
Kellie Arthur then directed people to contact Austin Arthur’s brother Alexander aka Zander.
The problem is Kellie Arthur’s claim is only partially true. Public records show Austin Arthur’s name was removed from corporate documents for Gymnastics USA from 2023 forward.
Public records also indicate Austin Arthur’s name was also removed from the corporate filings from Stars and Stripes Management last year as well.
Coincidently, this about the time Austin Arthur began his campaign to unseat Nicole Wilson on the County commission. It was also about this time that Austin Arthur became a Born-Again Christian and embraced Christian Nationalism.
Was Arthur afraid that the PPP loan would turn into a political scandal? Or, did something sinister and horrific happen in the locker room at Gymnastics USA? Regardless of what the campaign is saying, Austin Arthur was an owner of Gymnastics USA when the PPP loan was applied for and received and this video from Austin Arthur from 3 years clearly shows that:
The Austin And Zander Lie To Get A $400,000 In PPP Loans from The Federal Government While Scamming Members?
Gymnastics USA was no exception to the effects of the pandemic. The pandemic forced them to temporarily close and lay off staff.
However, Austin and Zander realized they still had a potential flow of cash they could tap into.
Gymnastics USA had a clause buried deep in their membership agreements stating that they would automatically charge fees to the member’s credit or debit card.
This is pretty common in gym and fitness club memberships.
But reputable Gyms like Planet Fitness and LA Fitness voluntarily STOPPED automatically charging members for membership fees during the pandemic.
Yet, while his gym membership families were STRUGGLING, greedy Austin and Zander Arthur concocted a sophisticated “Double-Dipping” Billing Scam.
They continued to charge members’ credit and debit cards the monthly fee even when Gymnastics USA was shut down, and kids were not receiving any training.
When members confronted them to complain, the brothers ignored them. For the persistent few, Austin and Zander made them jump through a series of lengthy, time-consuming paperwork. The brothers did this to discourage members from seeking refunds.

Did Austin Arthur and Gymnastics USA Commit PPP Loan Fraud By Lying on a Federal PPP Loan Application?
A FOIA request revealed Austin Austin and Zander Austin applied for a PPP loan in the first round of loans being issued in April 2020. SBA approved Gymnastics USA for a loan in the amount of $198,264 to cover payroll costs for 75 fake employees.
Once Austin realized how easy it was to get free money, he had Zander send in several more highly suspicious “staggered applications” – apparently hoping to collect as much as possible by tricking SBA underwriters.
In January 2021, the Federal Government approved a second PPP loan in the amount of $228,429 before they finally discovered the PPP Application Scam and then blacklisted Gymnastics USA from receiving any further funds.
But the scammer brothers were able to successfully purloin over $400,000 from Uncle Sam.
The Arthur brothers did luck out. Despite evidence of wrongdoing, the SBA administratively forgave their loans without an audited investigation.
If the office of SBA-OIG decides to continue with the investigation and charge the brothers, they are facing hefty civil penalties and lengthy prison sentences.
